We are exploring various ways for our athletes to safely train during the fall and would like your feedback on how comfortable you are with our potential options.  These trainings will be open to all athletes who intend to tryout this year, not just returning players.  Safety precautions will include:

  • Social distancing will be maintained at all times, with personal baskets whenever possible

  • Maximum 5 athletes at a time for indoor sessions, more for outdoor sessions as space permits

  • Masks will be worn at all times, by both athletes and coaches, indoors and outdoors, with safe breaks as needed

  • Athletes will bring their own balls and will not share

  • Hand sanitization will be done as a group before, during and after each session

  • Temperatures will be checked before each session using a no-contact thermometer

We’ll announce specific plans after we weigh your input.  We’ll adjust them as conditions change, always within SPS and state guidelines, of course.
